EDGEWORTH NURSING REVIEW CENTER offers upscale nursing student review services for regular graduates and second- coursers. Normal operating hours are 8am to 8pm, Mondays through Sundays - with observance of some major legal holidays. Additional hours are intended for free tutorial service.

EDGEWORTH NURSING REVIEW CENTER also exists to provide Premier Advance Study Support services that are aimed at enhancing traditional teaching and training methodologies and integrating interests (such as specialty nursing, clinical skill enhancement, teaching basic nursing, writing ) into one comprehensive program.

All of our review and other educational services employ technology, partnerships, professional services and other activities that support and promote higher learning. In addition to the extensive review services, each branch will also offer free nursing seminars updating students on most current nursing practice trends, reference books, hand outs, and nursing magazines.

THE EDGEWORTH NURSING REVIEW PROGRAM

1. Conceptual Lectures. These are bulleted lectures given to help students focused on their review subjects.

2. Sub-Groupings. The class will be grouped by 100’s, and will be handled by a nurse-review coordinator/facilitator to directly monitor learning behaviours, as well as, academic retention of individual reviewee.

3. Daily Individual Student Monitoring Report. Review Coordinators will monitor and evaluate individual reviewee using Edgeworth Student’s Review Performance Monitoring Report Forms. Metrics will consist of attendance, simulation scoring, and over-all learning attitude. These reports will be consolidated and summarized for Weekly Evaluation Report to the Dean’s Office, and other concerned school departments.

4. Simulations Drills, Diagnostics and Evaluation Examination. Every after each subject review, an evaluative exam will be given to reviewees in monitoring their academic retention status. It would give students idea on how the board exam is given. Also, the more practiced they are, the greater there confidence level would be. Our PRC formatted answer sheets will help them practice their shading skill. Simulations and diagnostic Exams will continue until last day of Review Proper.

5. Support Academic Module. Each student reviewee will receive a review module by the start of Course Audit / Academic Enhancement program/ Consortium Review. This should let them stay in focus during conceptual lecture hours and save money in buying review books outside.

6. FOCUS Sessions. This is a brainstorming - sharing activity between students. The lecturer or Nursing coordinators will organize, facilitate, and check their works with individual inputs of what to remember in certain concepts.

7. Strict Review Rules and Regulations. Daily review activities will be governed by applicable review rules and regulation.

8. TOTAL NUMBER OF REVIEW HOURS: 440 Hours total. 80 hours for Diagnostic Phase; and 240 hours for Consortium / Comprehensive Review Phase, 120 hours for Critical Phase. An additional 40 hours is designed for Intensive Final Coaching Phase.

  Diagnostic Phase – Board simulation to identify students’ academic weaknesses. There would be test rationalization.
  Consortium/ Comprehensive Phase – Conceptual lectures and academic enhancement sessions with common board questions integrated on a per concept basis.
  Critical Phase – a question and answer/ rationalization period. Intensive Final Coaching Phase – High frequency board questions are given with tips on how to crack the board exam questionnaires.

9. TECHNOLOGIES: Edgeworth is utilizing high end technologies in conducting review. To wit: DLP projectors, tablet computers, interactive whiteboard, computer simulation, and internet based satellite review.

10. CONSORTIUM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: 1. ) The faculty of the consortium will be trained on module development, teaching skill enhancement, and on facilitating an in-house review program so that in 2 years time, the consortium will not depend to Edgeworth Nursing Review Center or to any other review centers outside there organization. 2. ) On a per one hundred ( 100 ) students basis, Edgeworth will award a college scholarship grant for an indigent high school graduate to study on the said school plus an additional donation of Fifty Thousand Philippine Pesos ( Php50,000 ) donation to any college projects. Other specifications for the Consortium Program is can be modified depending on school’s needs and requirements. Please see Appendix 3 for Edgeworth Sample Consortium Contract.

11. REVIEW SCHOLARS: The college cumlaudes will be rewarded with an automatic FREE review or 50% discount depending on his/her scholastic records.
